What is The Science Behind an Awesome Day project?
The PROJECT was born out of a need to share how invigorating it is to exercise while performing a learned skill. Whether it was skating, playing golf, tennis, or even something as basic as jumping rope, I always felt energized and alive when taking these on. Thanks to the latest brain research, I can better explain why that feeling of exhilaration happens. When we move, our brain releases various feel-good chemicals that put our brain in a positive emotional state while also nourishing it with the nutrients it needs to help it function optimally. When that happens, your brain is firing on all cylinders.
